A NEW RECRUIT TO OUR VOLUNTEERS..

ALL OUR LADY COACHES OUT FOR A SPECIAL OCCASION...
A couple of 'firsts' for us last weekend.
The first time all 3 ladies were ribboned up for a wedding and the first time we had to take them into the Market Square on a Saturday afternoon for the wedding at the Council House.
All went well and the sun shone too! My usual thanks to volunteer drivers Mike Salmon, Eddie Crane and Richard Baker.

LADY CATHERINE'S RIDE TO DERBYSHIRE...
Abbey Gates WI hired Lady Catherine this week for a ramble in Derbyshire.
They walked from Middleton via Bradford Dale and are pictured as they were about to set off.
Thanks to Dave Thorley, our volunteer driver and also his wife Val who joined them for a lovely day out.

We took a drive out to Chatsworth recently in Lady Catherine to visit the farm shop and garden centre. Our volunteer driver Richard Baker gave up his time to give the passengers a lovely day out in the beautiful Peak District.

A TRIP ON THE TRENT...
Our affiliated group Mansfield & Ashfield Carers hired Lady Annabella recently for a trip along the Trent from Colwick. Our usual thanks to Enid Thomas who accompanied them for the day. They are pictured with the bus under lovely blue skies.
THE WHOLE RAVENSHEAD COMMUNITY TRANSPORT FLEET OUT FOR THE NIGHT...
Our entire fleet was hired recently for a local resident's 40th birthday celebrations being held at Kelham near Newark. Our volunteer drivers that evening were Andrew Spence, John O'Riordan and David Kirk. A couple of super atmospheric night time shots of our ladies outside the venue taken by Andrew.

LADY ANNABELLA AND THE GANG ON A TRIP TO WOLLATON PARK...
One of our local residents and a keen supporter of RAVENSHEAD COMMUNITY TRANSPORT hired Lady Annabella to go to an event at Wollaton Park recently. They are pictured alongside the bus and are clearly having a great day out. Our usual thanks to volunteer driver Enid Thomas.

Our local PHAB group enjoyed a super day out at Trentham Gardens recently. Lady Annabella is pictured along with volunteer driver Mike Salmon and group organiser Patrick Kelly. Thanks to both guys for giving their time voluntarily to help the members get out and about.

A HUGE THANKS....
A huge 'Thank You' to all who voted for Ravenshead Community Transport in the recent Aviva Community Fund programme.
Our final votes total was 2830 which is a great achievement and we are extremely appreciative of the support shown for Ravenshead Community Transport.
We made it through to the final round but were 'pipped at the post' as they say! Next time perhaps! Many thanks again...

LADY ANNABELLA'S TRIP TO CRICH TRAMWAY MUSEUM...
Lady Annabella visited the Crich Tramway Museum recently with a group from Rainworth and District U3A.

Fantastic News..
Ravenshead Community Transport have been awarded a grant from Santander.
Jo Miller presented our Chairman (and volunteer driver) David Grenham with a cheque for £5000 this morning at the Cornwater Club. Also pictured are members of the Club arriving for their morning session in Lady Caroline driven by our driver John O'Riordan.
A huge thanks goes to Jo and all at Santander, their help is greatly appreciated.

-Click on 'Not yet registered' and register with your name, email & password.
-You will then receive an email with a link to activate your account
-Enter via the link, activate your account and select Ravenshead Community Transport in the project title box. Select 'Blidworth Plus Bus' which has a photograph of one of our buses.

LOCAL RESIDENTS USE LADY CAROLINE FOR SCHOOL HOUSE RESTAURANT OUTING...
A local group of residents from Papplewick hired Lady Caroline to take them to the fabulous School House Restaurant in Calverton.
Our usual thanks to volunteer Mike Salmon who drove for them that evening.
A BIRTHDAY TRIP TO THE NETTLE INN IN ASHOVER FOR LADY CATHERINE...
Birthday celebrations at the Nettle Inn in Ashover with a local resident and his family - a fantastic day weather wise too!
Many thanks to our volunteer driver David Cooper, who is now back behind the wheel, his wife Anne and the spotlessly clean Lady Catherine.

TRIPS TO THE NEC SEWING EXHIBIITON FOR TWO LOCAL GROUPS...
Two of our fleet, Lady Annabella and Lady Caroline took two local groups (Patchworkd Pollies in picture) to the NEC in Birmingham for the Sewing Exhibition recently.
Thanks go to two regular volunteer drivers Eve Griffith and David Kirk who even gave their time on a Sunday to transport the groups there and back from the exhibition.
