A TRIP TO CRESSWELL CRAGGS...


Ravenshead U3A group organised a trip to Cresswell Craggs using one of our ladies rcently.

A FULL HOUSE TRIP TO CAMPSITE IN BINGHAM...


All three of our ladies were hired to transport the local Brownie group to a campsite near Bingham.

A TRIP TO WILLIAM SHAKESPEARES BIRTH PLACE...

The Rainworth U3A group used our Lady Elizabeth for a trip to William Shakespeares birthplace in Stratford.

A TRIP TO SCARBOROUGH FOR RAVENSHEAD SWING BAND...


Our coaches Lady Caroline and Lady Catherine had a sunny weekend trip in Scarborough with Ravenshead Swing Band for a national Rotary function.

ABBEY GATES PRIMARY SCHOOL MINI MARATHON TRIP TO NOTTINGHAM...

Our Lady Caroline was hired to take children from Abbey Gates Primary School to a mini marathon which started on the embankment in Nottingham.

A TRIP TO THE ROBIN HOOD CAMPSITE AND WATERMEADOWS...

Our Lady Caroline and Lady Catherine were hire for a Brownie, Guide and Scouts group trip to the Robin Hood Campsite and then onto Watermeadows in Mansfield.

A TRIP TO HARROGATE FLOWER SHOW...

Garden Group of Ashfield U3A hired our Lady Catherine for a trip to the Harrogate Flower Show.

A WEDDING AT PAPPLEWICK PUMPING STATION...

Both our coaches Lady Caroline and Lady Elizabeth were used for a special wedding of one of our volunteers Andrew Spence and his wife Anik who were celebrating their daughters wedding at Papplewick Pumping Station followed by a reception at The Centre at St. Peters in Ravenshead.

Our thanks go to both our driver volunteers David Kirk and David Cooper and others who helped to make the day special including Glynne Payze and Mike Preston.

MOVIE NIGHT TRIP AT HARDWICK INN...

A local resident Angela celebrated a special birthday by taking a group of friends to the movie night at the Hardwick Inn in Lady Caroline.

A WEDDING IN MANSFIELD...

Lady Elizabeth was hired for a very special day, a wedding at Mansfield, St. Peters Church then a reception at the Riding Stables at Thoresby Hall.

A DAY TRIP TO PLANET BOUNCE IN NOTTINGHAMM...

A 21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION...

ANOTHER DAY AT SOUTHWELL RACES .,..



Reference my previous post - a Day at the Races..here is another pickie of one of the other hirer's and his passengers that day all looking incredibly smart alongside Lady Elizabeth. Many thanks Richard..

MP MARK SPENCER WITH RAVENSHEAD COMMUNITY TRANSPORT NEW MINIBUS...



We have recently been successful in obtaining some funding from the Department for Transport which allowed us to replace Lady Annabella with Lady Elizabeth earlier this year.

We are extremely appreciative of this help from the Government and met up with local MP Mark Spencer recently to have some photographs taken 'showing off' our new minibus complete with D for T stickers.

RAVENSHEAD COMMUNITY TRANSPORT AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE HIRE...



Remember our minibuses are available for private hire so if you are organizing a special night out give Karen a call on 01623 490888 to arrange safe transport to and from your venue.

Pictured are a couple of local residents who did just that. Huge thanks to all my volunteer drivers who give up their time for some of these 'late nighters'!

ANOTHER TRIP TO CHARITY BALL AT GOOSEDALE...



For the second time we provided transport for a Charity Ball at Goosedale near Papplewick which was organised by local resident Hayley.

All 3 of our Ladies were in service for the evening and huge thanks to volunteer drivers Richard Baker, John Manchester & Peter Russell. A late night guys - much appreciated by Hayley, the passengers and myself.

A TRIP TO KNITTERS MUSEUM AT RUDDINGTON ...



Our local U3A groups are certainly making good use of this fabulous community asset and taking our yellow ladies all over the country.

Some members from Ashfield paid a visit to the Knitter's Museum at Ruddington recently and are pictured in this smashing photo with volunteer driver Dave Thorley at the wheel of Lady Caroline.

A great day out and thanks also to Val Thorley who accompanied Dave and was able to take the super pickie of them all.

SPLENDOUR FESTIVAL IN WOLLATON PARK...



You may have spotted our Ladies if you were at the Splendour Festival in Wollaton Park in August, a couple of weeks ago. Catherine and Elizabeth was there with 2 different hirers.

Our regular supporter Sue together with family and friends are pictured being dropped off at the venue armed with all their gear for a smashing day out.
